Este trágico incidente registró más de 200 comerciantes afectados por el incendio que dejó en cenizas sus puestos de venta ubicados en el mercado denominado la paradita San Juan de Chancay.
La ayuda consistente en carpas, camas, frazadas colchones y utensilios de cocina, fue entregado por la Jefa de la Oficina Regional de Defensa Civil, Lic. Rosio Gonzales, al alcalde del distrito de Chancay, Dr. Juan Álvarez Andrade.
“Por órdenes del Presidente Javier Alvarado nos estamos constituyendo a este distrito trayéndoles materiales que les servirá para afrontar esta difícil situación que les ha tocado vivir hoy a causa del incendio que se ocurrió en su mercado”, indicó la citada funcionario a los damnificados que se encontraban apostados en los exteriores del municipio distrital.
Por su parte, el burgomaestre chancayano, así como los afectados, agradecieron el gesto de la máxima autoridad regional por la oportuna ayuda entregada a favor de los afectados por el siniestro. En la recepción de los donativos también estuvieron presentes regidores de la comuna portuaria, así como, el Secretario Técnico de Defensa Civil del distrito, Sr. Ronald Gutierrez.
